Product name: Garden of Ninfa and Sermoneta

What to Expect

Meet your group and guide in central Rome at the place given to you at checkout. Your air-conditioned transportation leaves at 8am, so don’t be late.

Ride through the Agro Pontino countryside and the Riviera d’Ulisse area while your guide tells you historical information and fun stories along the journey. When you reach the Garden of Ninfa, get out of your vehicle and be ready to take a ton of pictures.

This garden has been known to be inspiration for many artists and writers, such as Virginia Wolf. The storybook-like setting puts your mind at ease as you take note of the beautiful scenery. The garden has 1,300 plant species that grow among the remnants of a medieval village. See a few waterfalls and bridges as you walk around. Plus, bamboo, cherry trees, irises, and poppies will sneak their way into most photos you snap.

After exploring the land, stop for lunch at a local farmhouse before heading over to Sermoneta. This town is one of the most preserved medieval towns in all of Italty. See tower houses, a cathedral, and the Caetani Castle, which was built for the Annibaldi family in the early 13th century.

At the end of your tour, it’s time to hit the road and ride back to Rome. Get back to the place you met sometime around 6pm.
